What You Need To Know NOW

Most people seem to get started with psychic readings by asking about a relationship. It's a good way to start: It's immediate and it's something you care about - and what comes through is information you can use right now.

It's also kinda tricky, the mix of letting down your guard to hear something new, while at the same time trying to protect your heart from hearing something you might not want to hear at all. Fortunately whether it's good news or bad news, readings about relationships are always helpful. The more complete your understanding of the loved one - and yourself -  the more you can steer the boat and enjoy the ride!

A good way to start is by asking questions, but some questions will get you more helpful answers than others.

Not so helpful questions:

 "Is he my soul mate?"
After doing over 20,000+ readings, I've learned to trust my guides that anyone we find ourselves having a continuing interest in is someone we've been involved with in a past life too - but I still watch for them to show their true intentions in this one! Besides, soul mate relationships are not always the joyful experience the name implies. They can be intense and teach us many important life lessons, but they wont necessarily make us happy or last a lifetime.

"Are we meant to be?"
People ask this question in hopes of getting reassurance that the relationship has some sort of divine protection that will make it safe before taking any risks. As an astrologer I can tell you why you are attracted to each other and what the potential of the relationship is, but nothing will come of it all if you don't choose to get involved, open your heart and be vulnerable.

Questions that help:

"What is the potential for this relationship?"
Best Question!  If you're looking for marriage it helps to find out if you're dealing with a confirmed bachelor. On the other hand, if you know in advance it's going to be just a fling you'll enjoy it more without false expectations. He may not be your Mister Right, but he could still be your Mister Right Now. And finally, wonder of wonders, If it does turn out to have all the earmarks of a keeper - let's get the party started!

"How does he feel about me?"
Continually consulting an oracle to ask how the partner feels can be dangerous if it becomes a substitute for communication with the man himself. Yet there are those men (probably the ones with Mercury in Taurus) who simply don't realize we need to hear the words. Like the old farmer who told his wife," When I think about how much I love you, it's all I can do to keep from telling you."
Astrology can put your heart at ease by helping decipher his mixed signals!

"Do we have a future together?"
This is the sort of question astrology was created for. So many times a relationship that seems to be over and dead and done with can be brought back to vibrant and happy life when we use the stars to recognize what the obstacles are and how they can be removed!

"What is the most important attitude to adopt at this time?"
This is my personal favorite question. So often knowing the right attitude to have with a relationship is the fastest way to get to where we want to be.

"Why has our relationship broken down?"
Was it something you said or did or do you simply remind him of his mother? The cards are a big help on answering this one!

""Will we get back together?" and the companion question, "What can I do to put things right?"
If it does turn out that the ball is in your court, knowing the astrologically best time to make a call or send an email can maximize the chances. On the other hand, if the cards show he needs to make the first move, astrology can tell you when you can expect to hear from him.

"What do I most want from life?"
Not really a question specifically about relationships, but we are attracted to those we sense will help us fulfill our dreams - so it can be a big help if we know what those dreams are and understand our own hidden motivations!

Well I suspect this week's column may have sparked more questions than answers. Give me a call and let's find the answers together.
